How You Earn

A clear ladder. Real numbers. No mystery.

Your income grows with your title. The more you produce, the higher your contract level — and the higher your commission percentage on every policy you write. Here's exactly how the ladder works.

The contract climbs as you grow.

You start as an Associate — earning a 40% base on every personal sale. As you produce more business and develop your skills, you climb to Senior Associate, Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Director, and ultimately Executive Marketing Director at 85%.

This is straight commission on the products you sell — there's no income earned for recruiting. You earn when families buy plans that protect them. That's the whole model.

Personal percentages may vary based on advancement level and product type. All compensation plans are subject to change. Field title designations are determined by GFI.

Yes. Most of our team starts without a license — we'll walk you through the entire licensing process step by step. State licensing typically takes 1–4 weeks depending on your state and how quickly you want to study. We can also start you in a Referral Agent role while you complete licensing.
No. Some of our most successful builders came from teaching, healthcare, hospitality, trades, parenting full-time — anywhere people-skills matter. The system is built around honest, kitchen-table conversations, not high-pressure sales tactics. If you can listen, ask good questions, and care about people, you can do this.
There are state-mandated licensing costs (typically a few hundred dollars depending on your state — exam fee, fingerprinting, license fee). Beyond that, GFI doesn't charge for training, the technology platform, or carrier appointments. We'll walk through the exact numbers on our discovery call so you know what to expect.
Absolutely. Many of our builders keep their day jobs and run this on evenings and weekends — 10–15 hours per week is plenty to start. The flexibility is the point. You scale to whatever level fits your life.
Commissions are paid by the carrier (the insurance company) directly to you, typically within days of policy issue. There's no GFI middleman holding your money. As you advance, you'll also accumulate renewal income on policies you placed in prior years — that's where the long-term compounding really kicks in.

There's a Revenue Sharing path designed specifically for licensed professionals in adjacent fields (accounting, law, tax, real estate, mortgage, etc.).
